Looks like he may have tried to clean the dirt off the inner fender for the second round of pics.  Sadly it looks like he also yanked the inspection tag off.

70 sublime

They have pulled the extra piece that was under the fender tag also

Thats the piece I mean, it was an inspection tag from the assembly line and they should have left it alone.

F8-4life

I want the shifter & steering wheel, he can keep the car lol.

In all honesty, a 383 H9B car with V21, original engine and 4spd and that color combo is probably just as valuable as a copper and/or tan R/T restored...I think that's seriously a badass combo

To bad it's not original engine. :shruggy:

ditto, V21 on that combo over many RTs for me, now RT/SE that might be a different story....

Poor thing is got some rot in some new England, east coast places, not sure I could put it in the Survivor category, but groomed up might make a nice driver for someone.

Does anybody want to talk to the so called grumpy guy who is selling the cool 69 dodge charger 4 speed V21?  I don't know what that guy is talking about but I would be glad to talk to anybody about the car.  The motor was replaced by the original owner's family Dodge dealership back in the late 90's.  It is a dated coded 1969 440 and it has about 25,000 miles on it. The car runs and drive great.  Some of the pictures where taken when I first found it buried in a truck repair shop a year ago.  The inspection tag fell off effortlessly by accident when I wash off the car. I still have it. I  also have the original hurst shifter, build sheet and the original 1969 Maryland title.   Please feel free to contact me if you want more info, pictures or if you want to make me an offer.

Thanks,
Steve

Cool you are here  :2thumbs:

Why are you selling the car ?

I have four other driver project mopars, one I've had for almost 30 years and it's  being fully restored coming out of paint soon. 6 year project.  I am not made of money and I would like to finish one of these projects.  I am not usually into buying and selling mopars once I find them I keep them.  But I also came across another rare charger that I like by chance that wasn't really for sale just like this one and I could use the money.  I have a big block charger addiction and It's hard to pass up fully documented cool cars that are just sitting around begging to be driven.  Call me crazy but I love it.

Thanks

Ghoste

Is the other one a 69 as well?

472 R/T SE

Yeah, but it's a '70.  There were a few more V21's in '70 than '69.  Now V24....that's the one to have in '70.  Even moreso than a '69 V21 imo.

That ebay car is super sweet though.  One of our members' just restored one almost identical to that one.

Well, this is an interesting twist... Anyone call Steve and speak with him about his car?  :popcrn:

I hope someone does, and I hope they buy it and restore it too.
