Needs lower quarter / valance repairs,  trunk floor,  front seat upholstery...  but probably not a bad project to start with.   Who knows where the '440' came from tho...   it's a 383 car.   At least the frame rails look OK.

Inspectors tag, as the car passed various stations and was approved, sections of the tag were cut off or punched.

That's not bad, given it's current condition  :Twocents:

I contacted seller...he said he'd part with $17k in cash...for a rare(r) option car, I would have seriously considered had I not gotten my R/T!

No A47 on the tag for SE.

Amazing, an east coast car with no undercoating & it's not swiss cheese under there.  Very well taken care of.

So Ghoste, how many V21 cars' that aren't an R/T?  please

472 R/T SE

I'd have to take a bondo meter thingie to it but if it's not full of mud, $17k is a great price, imo.

I suspect the quarters were once in the same shape as the trunk floor, so I'm betting on the dough meter will be going off like crazy. :D   Luckily its just a call to AMD and your favorite welder these days.  Still its a rare and desirable car, and worth treating to a complete restoration.

R6 with V21 hood treatment and a 4spd??  :drool5:

I guess I didn't look close enough.  The rear valance corner's shape seems to be off, looks skinnier plus it looks as though it was mudded over.  Looking at the bottom body lines on both rear quarters shows them not being very crisp either.

By the looks of the frame rails though, you wouldn't think the rest of it would be so bad.   :shruggy:
