I don't know a lot about the hideaway grilles other than what I see posted on ebay which I think is a bit over priced.

I have a chance to buy this complete bumper (actually he has as 150 speed rallye dash as well he wants to move)
Wondering what this grille/bumper assemble is worth from what you can see.  (and what is a 150 rallye dash (uncut) worth?)

chrome looks really good and it's a local pickup
'74 Rallye 4spd (WH23L4) (1 of 94)
'74 Rallye Auto (WH23L4) (quad black)
'69 Swinger 340 - 4spd
'70 Duster 340 - 4spd

71 SE3834V

Looks nice and the grill looks pretty detailed. Don't know what it's worth even though I have one but I do know if it was from a '68-'70 it would be worth a lot more!  :yesnod:

That looks like a nice complete 71 hideaway setup. I just sold four of them ranging from $600-$1000.  It depends on condition of the chrome, any pitting, rust and how complete they are.   The 71's are more desirable and if that one is as good as it looks it's worth $1,000 or more to someone who doesn't have one.  I also sell average condition Ralley dashes for $250-$350.

I have more 71 charger parts.  If you need anything let me know.

Thanks,
Steve

I'm not a big fan of hideaways on 3rd gens. Not saying I don't like, but simply not a big fan. IMHO they look like forced somehow into the double loop bumper, not really a natural assembly... BUT If I was to fit someone in my car definitelly would be a 71, not a 72 setup
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

71s are the hardest to find. A very nice set could bring upward of 1500 bucks. Any third gen would be lucky to have hideaways.

Thanks everyone

I was on the fence when Bob had a set of '72s for sale on here.  But just recently my nephew asked if he could restore the triple black rallye I bought in March.
So... I plan to install hideaways and increase the size of the rims.

Haha.  Any 3rd gen would be lucky....   I told the seller of my grey charger that he had a deal if he removed the hideaways and put the stock '74 grille back on.
