Spark aura around the boots

Hi guys

I have had an issue with my MSD wires and boots burning on cyl 1&3. I bought some Firecore wires from Ron and they have worked great (no melting yet) but the other night I pulled my car into my shop and I tried checking since it was very dark. I noticed after my eyes adjusted that there was a blueish aura around every boot/ plug? No lighting storm like I have heard it described but more of a glow. Is this ok or normal?

That's interesting Scott  I've never noticed that before but in all honesty never looked that close under those conditions (pitch black)

The lightening show usually corresponds with a misfire as the spark jumps to ground because the boots are compromised. 

As long as it's running good I wouldn't worry about it.
