yeah    :iagree:   that 70 R/T looks ok ! but !  , has kind of got the perfumed pig look going on  , unless its just the picture .... :scratchchin:  , think your be sorry or mad  , may be both ,  if you trade your   existing 70 charger for that   :Twocents:

KEEP THE CHARGER YOU ALREADY HAVE  :2thumbs: :coolgleamA:  ;)

You made the right choice, congratulations!

i do not want to write to much about the car, because this is a open forum and the seller might want to sell the car some day. then the buyer can make his own opinion about the car.
But, everything is better on my car!

Yeah, I like that Burnt Orange 70. Deja Vue, It reminds me of my original burnt orange 70 R/T I just sold for $29k. LEON.

Tmb84

Next week my Charger is going to have something called EU-check, same as MOT. every two year all cars registered after 1960 need to do this.
so i need to put on the original Wheels.. Next season i may be using this. its original 5,5x14" rallye, 215/75 cooper

just have to spread this, i have been in touch with previous owner on email.
He confirm everything i know about my car and alot more..

body: all original, never repaired or painted.
vinyl roof: original roof was scratched during delivery to dealer, and replaced with a new OEM roof.
Charger emblems on roof were left off as we thought they looked bulky
Trans: rebuilt to High-performance spec, Alabama converter.
rear: changed from 2.76 small yoke to 3.23 using a custom universal to mate different yokes.
motor: never out of car, heads done by mopar expert, Purple shaft cam, oilpan windage tray installed.
Heavy distributor weight spring replaced to mopar light weight spring.

Garaged since 1975 when i bought it from my mother.

I just love this car more and more :2thumbs:

Is it possible to put a oil pan windage tray in with out pulling the Motor? LEON.

Slowpoke

it is possible. I did it on my 68 RT because some idiot forgot to install when I built the engine.  :brickwall:
68 R/T LL1
under restoration for the last 25 years

Tmb84

i dont know if that possible, but something have been done to the engine mounts, its Chain around them. and i truly believe the previous owner, i sent a Message to his son in law over two years ago on facebook. he reply last week and we chatted a while.. the former owner was glad to hear about the car and will answear all of my questions. the car was in Family from new to 2013. i have asked to get an old photo of it.

the previous owner did some drag racing back in the 70`s and he had the times and engine setup written down.
he sent me this today:

2bbl carb single exhaust, 2.76 open rear, 17.02/81.54mph

carter avs 4bbl, single exhaust, 2.76, 15,74/88.75mph

carter avs 4bbl, single exhaust, 3.91 posi rear, 15.55/88.93mph, slicks

carter avs 4bbl, dual exhaust, 2.76 open rear, 15.59/92.40mph

850cfm thermoquad, facory castiron 400 manifold, dual exhaust, 2.76 open rear, 15.33/94.84mph

when i got the car it had carter avs 4bbl, factory 383 castiron manifold, 3.23 open rear, dual exhaust.
The open 2.76 followed the car.

real fun to get this info  ;)

Very nice car.....two things I noticed that I am curious about:

1) Car appears to have a 69 style radio.....was this changed at some point by previous owner?
2) The rear defrost switch does not look like any other 1970 B body I have seen. Was this option added to the car after purchase?

i think the radio have been changed, the buildsheet says AM radio, and now there is AM/FM

i dont know about the rear defroster, i will ask

the car was also delivered with Chrysler airtemp from dealer, removed late 70`s
