well already in hands, but will take a while before mount them.

HOWEVER, I have some doubts about... the slotted cuts are really sharp, and I'm thinking on the brass bushing being cut by them

what do you think on get slotted edges slightly softened with a dremmel ?

Your not the first guy to use them... They've been around for some time now, and I've never heard a single complaint... Run them as is, and don't worry about it... :Twocents:

Nacho,
good to have concern , there shouldn't be an issue , I deburr  mine as well , can't hurt , just dress them

Pay this sort of attention to detail to this whole engine, it will be kickass and stay together  :2thumbs:

well my concern is because we are talking about a soft material like brass against a sharp edge on a hardened material. Once rockers gets the spring valve pressure, will go againts the edges of the slotted cuts

I bought a pair of grooved shafts once and not again. They sent me ones that had proud edges all along the groove that would have destroyed any rocker arm placed on the shaft. It is really important to dress the grooves so that there will be no sharp edges that cut the aluminum or brass that rides over the groove.

same Hughes engine shafts ?

These have not proud edges I could notice, but if you think a soft material able to be pressed on and getting into the groove, definitivelly can be cut.

I think wil use a soft stone on a dremmel and dress a little bit the slots, nothing hard, just going by.
