So, now that you set aside you desire for a Charger, what cars are on your short list? :popcrn:

Ben, I'd be all over the last 2 in the previous list :yesnod:

Please forget the Vettes.  Keep the Mopar faith

Ghoste

Especially after 52 pages of what do you think of this Charger.  If you buy a Vette now I curse it to catch on fire. (Voodoo witch doctor smiley would go here)

TUFCAT

If anyone thought we were pricks ...just wait until he gets on those Vette forums!  :D

I predict Vette owners don't have this much patience for "HELP ME FIND MY DREAM VETTE"?   :pullinghair:

OK you need to separate some things.
do you have a daily driver? No, ok buy yourself a cheap low insurance car like (dont laugh) a Honda civic or something like that.
Buy something that is like 10 to 15 years old. Cheap to maintain and can be repaired without computers or big bills. Cheap to drive also.
Now you have that, then buy some rolling muscle project to tinker on in the weekends. No need to have stress on sunday because you did'nt manage to get your quarter repair done and have to drive to work without a quarter panel on you car.

i'm telling you again look for every B body available. There are some nice roadrunners or bee's out there for less than the one and only (we al know what that is)....
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Do you guys lose sleep at night wondering if Ben found a charger! Wake up in the morning and log on and go to page 42 for an update.  :nana: :slap:

pmike

Get a driver, and project engine, 440 or such, and transmission, 727 or 4 speed. Then you can work on them, engine parts will not break the bank so much, and you can tell everyone that you are a mopar enthusiast! When you are ready blueprinting them, sell the driver and get a rolling charger, drop engine and trans in the car and drive to the sunset :)

Are you serious? :scratchchin:

Chargers range in value from a few dollars to a few hundred thousand dollars.+ :shruggy:

Baldwinvette77

Giving up the charger dream and going for a vette? Man, Wrong direction in my opinion, but vette guys aren't as bad as what the others say..... Except for the 4th gen guys... I don't trust anyone who spends money on a 84-96 corvette  :eek2:  :puke:

Ghoste

What do I like thats less money than a Charger?  Road runnners, Super Bees, Dusters, Demons, picking through the neighbors trash, watching paint fade, sorting my lint collection by color and so on and so on...
Pretty much a lot of things are cheaper than Chargers especially once you factor in the after purchase costs.

500Jon

Better off dreaming about it than BUYING IT LoL!

I had alot of Chargers in my time on God's good Earth.
They are 45 years old now and weren't that good when new?

The only way to get a dream car is 'win the Lotto'.
Then you can buy a Veyron or a Bentley Super-Sport etc etc etc.

The Charger will have to be built by 'OverHAulin' and everything, I mean everthing will be changed out for something new.
Or maybe a 69 Carbon-Fibre handbuilt body mounted on a SRT hemi chassis??? :scratchchin:

Any ways it will be a dream car, just need the MONEY!!!!!! :smilielol:

Happy Hunting Ben from Jon
