I hope you're on your way with the cash picking up the 70.   This thing will be gone before the end of breakfast.

Although the rearend looks to be bondo'ed, it's still dirt cheap for a 70.

That's very true good to think about out of these cars which do you think is best

The red car has been painted with plasti dip the owner says that he has done that for looks and also protection while it is in storage and that it will peel off no problem oh and it has some small rust on the front passenger quarter

And the greenish one had been almost restored and the guy has racing seats that go with the car the engine is said to be built and blue printed car needs paint and some body work

I think the Detroit car has the best potential.

I'll resonate the suggestions some others have made-

Fill your library (brain) before you fill your garage. Focus on college.

We are all very supportive Charger enthusiasts, but these cars are a financial drain (burden).

Best of luck!

I gotta give you credit where it's due.

My soon-to-be 16 year old son can't tell me the difference between a pliers and a crescent wrench.    :rotz:

Well, maybe......but not much more.

So, I give you props for being ambitious, and for diggin' the old stuff.

Im sorry that it keeps changing i just keep finding more money to put towards it the max i can do now all and all is 12 grand thats it and thats the final budget.

Keep finding more money? Like in the sofa cushions?

It's going to be difficult, but don't get attached in the first 15 seconds to any car you look at. Stay impartial & plan on the thing being a POS no matter what the price. Anything that turns out to be better than you anticipate will be a plus. Sellers will sense the excitement & will stay firm on the price if they see that you "HAVE TO HAVE IT" right then & there.

Nice paint can be nice paint, but it might be hiding a lot of issues underneath so look hard & carefully. That Detroit car looks nice in the photos & may have been done in the taste that the owner prefers, but what I see is the use of many, many, aftermarket pieces that cost much less than original parts. Don't take that the wrong way, I don't mean the car is crap, I only mean it may have been done on a low budget & corners might have been cut all over.   :Twocents:
