I agree with charger Brodie , this is a shared community to help all, we all have similar cars and some like to post and help and most just read, I have many people on here I consider friends and they just read, ? So why delete something that could quickly help others,

Kern Dog

Well, the OP can piss off for all I care. Good luck trying to get help here again. Nobody likes to be used and disregarded. Selfish a-holes that burn bridges are the last thing anyone needs.

fy469rtse

Well I was trying to be polite, and give him the benefit of doubt , but I like what you said  :2thumbs:

I guess from now on, everyone remember his name here and the next time he asks for help, either don't help or give the wrong answer

I read the original post--thanks to Mopar-nut---So what is the real hp and torque of a 383 4bl.?
Knightprowl can find this info. with an internet search but chose to ask us.

Is their a controversy out there about this?

Where is the value of this info.? Is it to win a bet?

His method of interacting on a public forum is a bit creepy.----He stepped up and posted a question then spent effort to undo his--- intrusion?---Did he get the answer to his question?

:shruggy:  All I have are questions. :scratchchin:

I like the "wrong answer". I've done that on accident before but this could be a LOT of fun.

c00nhunterjoe

Dodge grossly underrated the hp/tq numbers. The 383 was "rated" at 335/425 but we all know that this monster motor really made 650/837......   :popcrn:

The reason I always delete my topics after I have the answers to my questions is because I have no use for it anymore. Sure it may seem selfish to you all but not to me. I never keep a topic or any of my posts on any website or forums after it is not needed. So it has nothing do with anything you have said. I am not trying to hide anything from anyone. I am not trying to scam anyone. I am not trying to protect my intellect or how stupid I may seem for asking a question from anyone or anything else you have said.

I just don't see the point in keeping my topics or posts after I have no use for them. If anything I am just a very weird person that keeps nothing around after he is done with it online as well as in real life. I guess I am kind of the paranoid type as well never keeping any personal information on websites or forums. Its why I have no information on my profile on this site or any website or forums or other social networking websites and forums other then what is required by that specific website or forums and that's all hidden when and where possible. In other words I am just a very weird paranoid anti social person.

That is it. So call me whatever you want and say whatever you want to me or about me but I have said the truth of the matter. So you can believe what I said or not. I don't care either way. What others think of me or say to me or about me is no concern or problem of mine. Everyone has there own opinions and I cannot change them no matter what they are. But now you know my side of the story. And you can quote my messages all you want. I will still delete them even if the quoted messages remain. So please do what you want. It is your choice. I don't care either way. I just wanted everyone to know the reasons behind why I delete my topics or posts.
This isn't forum etiquette!

this is ironic you now have drawn a lot of attention to yourself exactly what you did not want.

Paranoid types make me laugh. Like the proper hacker couldn't find out anything and everything about anybody with enough time. Anybody can be hacked. Anybody can be found. Not posting your info. Is just plain dumb.
IP addys are where it's at.

Like this guy I was talking with at Carlisle about proving that "real" movie Christine a fake. For whatever reason, there are those who change when in a group or in person from their online persona. I do not.
if I don't like you, or have a problem with you, i say and do nothing I wouldn't in person and dare you to call me out. No reason to be paranoid about life on a forum asking car questions.

I agree.  It appears that this fellow has a nasty habit of alienating himself in forums all over the net so he just deletes everything after he gets the info he wants I suppose.

This thread gives some insight...

Agreed  Your words/actions will follow you out here.  In all fairness to knightprowl, I wish someone had told me that a long time ago as well.  But it seems he has many opportunities to learn that for himself.
