Not taking the car..shopping parts for the 70 bee. This is my first time going there and I wanted to check it out before I brought the car. I do not think I will be going to Belvidere. I will need to catch up from Carlisle. Carbaque?

Work is finally calming down, so my car season has just began. 

Here is what I'm confirmed doing so far -

Dubuque
Rt 66 Show in Springfield at the end of September.  You should go...... It's a nice drive and a great fall show.

Let's touch base next week some time.  I still go down to Bolingbrook a few days a week, so we can go to a car cruise some night.  The only bad night is Tuesday's.  I have to keep the wife happy - she's in a choir and they get together this night.

No problem Mike about hijacking...no such thing  Wished you could of made it down to Plainfield. In other new we went to oakbrook with our hosts for dinner at Greek Islands & was it good! I have been to the one in Chicago but this is another location. Oakbrook is a $$$ area by the look of the cars everyone is driving...christ they had Valet parking at the mall!

How far is Detroit for you?   Maybe plan on a road trip to Detroit and do a show for a weekend.  Kevin needs to go on a road trip with his car - he'll get hooked like me.

I live in Champaign (second stop on the tour) and will be there, most likely a spectator.  It is going to small miracle to get my car done anytime soon.

I would like to take a trip to southern IL. I have mostly driving in the North and Wisconsin. Champagne would be a nice ride!! We will need to see the dates and see if we can meet!!

Haha, that's like my exact car! Factory green, 383, etc... Have you seen my thread on it? It's under My '68 Resto/build! I'm just about to post pics of the body/shop work.
It's a place off of 294 in Alsip called Midwest Customs. AMAZING stuff. don't let me sell it to you though... check it out on here in a few weeks!

Tsmithae - I would love to! Just depends on the timeline. I know I'm preaching to the choir!  Either way, you're NOT very far away at all. We should meet up sometime down there. I'd LOVE to check your project out!

Joliet isn't terribly far from me either and my Charger wouldn't be able to come out and play either so I'd be in a Subaru.  Power Tour is a must I think, Ridelikehell.

Dave, the Bird is at least on a schedule now.   I have to finish remodeling the kitchen to keep the wife happy, then the Bird comes home to start ripping it apart.   Now since the Wing meet isn't until October, the goal will be to get it down by then.    Have to start cranking on it!!!

I will plan on going to Bartlett.  I need to get involved in the club again.
