Hey dirty turbin,
The first time I took this car out was at the end of the year last year. The car show theme in my town was Corvette night. In the first 30 minutes I had a suit and tie guy had me his card and ask to buy the car. I was surprised how fast that came :o

Work is finally calming down, so my car season has just began.  :2thumbs:

Here is what I'm confirmed doing so far -

Belvidere Show
Dubuque
Rt 66 Show in Springfield at the end of September.  You should go...... It's a nice drive and a great fall show.

Let's touch base next week some time.  I still go down to Bolingbrook a few days a week, so we can go to a car cruise some night.  The only bad night is Tuesday's.  I have to keep the wife happy - she's in a choir and they get together this night.

Marc, congrats on the wedding!  Sorry to hijack your thread! :icon_smile_big:

- A few stops on the Hot Rod Power Tour.   Starts in Madison and goes south.
- Car Craft Nationals are in Milwaukee this year.   Doing this also.

Hey guys! Just a quick story I thought I'd share.

So today I was driving from one work location to another when I came across a '69 R/T in someone's garage in Glen Ellyn (door was wide open)! I had to pull a "Danny" from Counting Cars and stop to see if the owner was home and make sure that it wasn't just his wife bringing in groceries, etc...

The guy was more than happy to come out in the extreme cold and talk to me for 40 minutes about it. It was a '69 R/T with a 4-speed and a Dana (4.10 gearing). Black with red stripes. All original according to him. He was very excited that there was another guy in the area into Chargers and owns one. I told him there were several and to come aboard the site.

We may get a new member soon and someone to cruise with! He has lots of questions.

Jeff

I sold a instrument cluster to a guy just south of Chicago who had a yellow convertible... I can't imagine there are too many of those.

I also know a guy who lives in Aurora with a lighter yellow '68 R/T. Has Keystone Klassics on it.
Ever see that one?
