Got a table top Harbor Freight cabinet used for $20 with glass bead.  Overpriced at that.  Even after using the electrolytic rust removal method on a control arm, and getting shinny metal after just touching it with a Scotch Brite, I could barely get any worthwhile results in the tougher to reach areas with the thing.  Thinking of getting the larger one they sell.  It's $100 off at $200 now, and wondering about hooking up one of the pressure blaster tanks to it instead of the siphon feed system it comes with.  We had a syphon type and a pressure fed one where I used to work, and the syphon one sucked.  What are your thoughts?

From what I've read on other forums discussing HF blasting cabinets, it's been recommended to contact the Tacoma Company.  http://www.tacomacompany.com/  They have upgrade kits that will make the HF cabinets perform better.

Have I used them? No.  Will I? Probably at least consult with them before buying a cabinet.

Try aluminum oxide it's much more aggressive. I used a kinda backpack blaster they sold, siphon feed and worked great.  :2thumbs:
