 It's another General Lee clone.
It originally was paile yellow, black vinal top, black bumblebee stripe and black intearier.

I've tried posting pictures but it said file is to large after resizing them?

Let's see if this picture downloads.

As an RT S/E car, the GL livery likely hurts value more than sub frame connector WITHIN THE MARKET THAT CARES ABOUT CORRECTNESS (not hating on GL's here folks) so I wouldn't even think twice about it at this point.

Ron. T

I under standard  your point about it already been modified but what i've done can be easily removed its just welding the frame connectors in seems more of a permanent mod and I might want to put it back original some day.

Ghoste

I'm speaking only about what things might be more likely to affect value to the purist if you list it for sale.  The purists (and I tend slightly to that side) would be much more likely to devalue the car for the easily removed but very obvious GL looks than the unseen but more permanent connectors.
This is only my opinion, but if I were buying a car based on its status as an RT S/E Super Track Pack car, I would be far more put off about having to remove push bar, repaint, and change wheels than the connector.  Is the interior stock or changed to GL style as well?

Ron. T

Interior is its original black but missing the center console and wood grain steering wheel.

The contoured connectors would be a HUGE deal to install and remove if you didn't want to mess up anything else on the car (like paint!). You could go "old school" and use a couple pieces of 2"x3" (laid flat) from the front of the rear rails to the torsion bar mounting area. You'll want to add a small plate in front to weld to the frame rail. You'd only weld each end and there's enough room above to clear the floor and emergency brake cable. It will be a noticeable improvement and still mostly invisible from outside - especially with a GL paint scheme.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

As a diehard GL fan I must . . . agree that the car deserves to go back to stock.

What is a "super track pack" car anyway?  :shruggy:

Ghoste

Four speed, 4:10 Dana 60 axle.

'OP this can be a simple issue for you; just decide on what you want this car to do.  Do you want it to be a rolling example of factory equipped cars, or do you want the car to represent what you think the car should be?  You can't have both, so pick one...

This is just a wild shot here, but:

I wonder if adhesive-bonding on a set of SC's would lend adequate structural help?

I know they don't recommend the stuff for structural uses.  But that might just be healthy caution rather than a specific reason to be concerned.  A set of SC aren't preventing the car from breaking in a half or anything.

I think Bill440RT has done that, or knows of someone who has used an adhesive for structural purposes...

I'm all for the USCar tool ones I put them on plus the front and rear torque boxes and imho they look like Ma Mopar put them there her self :icon_smile_big: One other small advantage I found too is my car is tight now :2thumbs:
