Need advice on which gun to keep.  I now have 3 AR15s. Rock River, Mossberg, and Bushmaster.  Which one do you guys prefer?  And please be honest and blunt. Thanks guys.  :2thumbs:

Colt Canada (Diemco) is released civilian versions of our Military's C7A2 and C8A2 AR style rifles! This is a major step in Canada and the first time Colt Canada is selling to the civilian market!

Before that though generally I went Bushmaster.

But there was also Olympic Arms:

H&K 416 (My personal favorite!):

Having never shot an of those brands, I would suggest that you keep the one that feels right in your hands while shooting.  I am a Colt/Daniel Defense guy by nature of my job, but if they are all gas operated systems, then there ain't much difference other than personal taste and user set up.   :Twocents:

Which one do you shoot the best with?  It isn't so much the rifle as it is the shooter AND the rifle.  Doesn't matter if the rifle in question is a high-dollar LMT or a budget Bushmaster with no dust cover; keep the rifle that you shoot best with.   Personally, I'd keep them all..

I haven't had time to shoot the Bushmaster or the Mossberg yet.  I have had the Rock River for around 5 years and I like it.  The Mossberg surprised me because I wasn't expecting to like it, but it really looks like a good piece.  All of these are the mass produced, cheaper style of AR.  Here is a picture, The rock river has green masking tape holding the flashlight control on, and the Mossberg has the long quadrail.

Of the 3 I lean towards the Bushmaster. But, like others have said, if you have to sell all but one keep the one that feels and shoots the best for you. I am looking to pick up a Sig from a buddy of mine in the next few months.

Never did get the AR-15 itch but if I did I'd go with a .308 version so as to be able to use the stockpile I have for my FAL's. My dealer has this on sale at about $350 off list price...I'm real tempted.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

NICE. If I had the cash I could go for that or the Ruger 7.62...

Based on options you have there... I'd pick the mossberg due to the amount or real estate on the rails.  You can set it up for any situation.  Trick it out with an afg2 foregrip, eotech, light, etc...  :Twocents:

They all function the same correct?  To me, it appears the mossberg has the advantage.

Thanks for the replies!  I am leaning away from the bushmaster because it has a really thin walled barrel with no dust cover.  So I think it comes down to the Mossberg or the Rock River  :shruggy:     I may hang on to all 3 for a while until I decide which one to keep.   :2thumbs:

I would keep the Rock River.

If you don't keep the rock river your crazy!  O0

Stegs

sell the Mossberg and bushmaster....keep the RRA

RRA is a quality gun, don't sell it....

HK are nice, I love my piston sr556 from ruger, spikes makes a awesome ar.....but I would sell the mossbergs and bushy

The Rock River and Mossberg uppers have the same markings on them.  They are forged in the same plant.  I am leaning towards the mossberg right now.   :shruggy:
