I'm sure this has happened to many of you but I had my first offer.  Had lots of people in my neighborhood that come to out beach and celebrate the 4th of july.  A guy on the beach spotted me and said he liked my car.  I had it parked in the driveway to showoff a bit (vain I know)  a little bit later he pulled up with a friend in his golf cart and started talking about the car and how much he liked it and asked if I'd take 120K in cash.  Now I know he could have been just talking, but it was fun haveing an offer.  I told him I had too many shows to do this summer but I'd think about it.  I told me to take his number and call him first if I decide to sell.   So since you guiys have dealt with this I'm sure ... full of shit ??  or serious??     He did get me thinking of another project I may have a chamnce at though.

There's really no way of knowing, not by appearance or anything.  It's a coin toss.

:Twocents: I wouldnt get off it .Unless I had something to upgrade a jump to.Or just needed to cash out . Unless waiting in the wings. Like a garage find Hemi wingcar or rarer is available. See whats outhere comporable with $120.00 K to spend .Easy to get out harder to get back in.Yet a highly recognized car that grave yard carz did up .Could produce a feeding frenzy

There are MANY that used to own a "REAL" Winged Car, but at any given time there are less than 2,500 people in the world that can actually lay the claim and back it up. It's an elite group, with only one way to retain your membership. Just a thought.

I have had offers, but always short of what I need to get the "other" Daytona I was looking to get. One never knows the exact amount of another bank account. At the minimum, take his number and let him know you'll call if you ever decide to sell for whatever reason. If the timing's right, then it is right.

Isn't that the truth, In my opinion, I think it's worth more.

I could buy a bunch of powerball lotto tickets with that !   We'll see how the summer goes.  Working on something not car related but cool.  Long shot but cool.  We'll see if the stars line up so to speak.  He could of been full of shit also.

The best offer I had this week was to trade even up on a Camry!

Now yours is the best offer I've had this week!

Unfortunately I'm only entertaining offers high enough to put both of my kids through college, pay off the mortgage, and still have a wing car :-)

If you were talking to me Dane, sorry, to tired to resize and post pics!  I'll try and get some though.  I hope at Carlisle, guys with more expertise than I will be able to give me some pointers to improve on the little details that I'm working on.  No guys, my deal with Mark was that I would do all the little details.  One thing I do have to adjust, but not before Carlisle is the nose.  They had it perfect with the Z braces I sent, but then I got repo's from Rick Fairless and Derrick got it close but didn't get a chance to finish it.  So I'm just letting guys know ahead of time that the nose wasn't a slop job, it just got sent back without Derrick getting it perfect.  Actually, I'm kind of looking forward to tweaking ti so I can learn how it goes.    Maybe I'll get the whole car perfect by the end of summer and then sell!
