I am hoping that someone can lead me in the right direction on this one. I have an original set of roof pillar scripts for my 72 Rally. The problem is like all old cars, they are a bit on the old side.
I have seen these reproduced parts (2841886 and 2841887) for 68 thru 70 Chargers. Are they the same, or is there another place to look other then e-gouge?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think they are the same size but pins don't match with roof  holes

I know a guy who has a set from a 70 Charger in Duluth?  Looked pretty good they were on ebay.

I guess if it comes down to it, I do have the original set that came with the car that still has the pins, or at least a couple of centimeters of the pins left. I may just find someone that does re-chroming, maybe they can do something with them.
You would have figured by now, someone would have been reprodicing them, even Year One at least.
Thanks for the advice.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Thanks for the info, I can see a potential problem here. I guess the ones I have will have to do for now. Is it possible for them to be re-chromed without being destroyed?
I have an extra arrow mount so I guess having someone to try would be well worth the effort. The ones I currently have are full chrome, when they should have the red and black on them. I will have to get with Larry (hotrod) as he is my neighbor, and see if he can give me the correct paint code for coloring them back in.
Thanks so much,

WOW I didn't realize I made all those posts...and in a year I only found 1 of the arrows! Gary Do your self a huge favor just buy a set for the 73-74 fenders they are identical in dimensions you'll just need to glue them on...no one can tell. Use 3M plastic and emblems adhesive (clear)
Part # 051135 08061 I got my emblems via a guy on the board but I know they make them new.

Only trick you'll need is to pull your inside sail panels and poke a pin through the emblem post holes, make a "dot" with a pen or magic marker for all 4 so you can ensure the emblem is mounted in the right place and is level, use a piece of tape installed just below and parallel to the holes as a guide.

I was tired of people asking "what is that a Chevelle"? nice to have the emblems on  :icon_smile_cool:

Good luck!

Great idea, and thanks so much for all the help, as many of us are running blind in some cases.
Again, thanks for all the help.
