I had this back for one month, one car show, then this, update 12/8/14

Fast forward, that pull was two months ago, now the new AMD hood, fender are on, and its got paint on it as of two weeks ago    

He was half way through the cut and buff in these pics, they had to paint the entire car, so no blending problems to worry about, evan did
the door jams again.

Love the snow tires! I too have a set of studs from when we used to drive these kinds if cars every day. They first ran under my 440-4speed Roadrunner and have held at least 20 cars off the ground since. (You have not lived until you have driven a big block 4 speed car with studded snow tires on ice-covered streets!)

Good to see this progress. I'm sure you are feeling much better about it by now.

I ran Firestone Town and Country's with studs. What about the four slice marks, sometimes eight, left in the road surface when spinning the rear wheels ? Who would have thought we'd be where we are today with these cars?

The studs were already pulled when I got the tires in 78, so no sparks for me   

I used to go to Spokane WA from Bellevue WA twice a year, a 6-7 hour drive, starting the year I bought my car in 78, One time
in the summer, and the day after Xmas for two weeks. Often there was over a foot of snow on the freeway
from before Vantage all the way there. Boy it is amazing the things I did back then, going 70 mph in a foot
of snow.......... I changed my driving habits a couple years back

I used to go to school in E. WA and it was a regular trip to drive the Roadrunner with studded tires over the mountain passes. Big fat tires on Crager SS's up front and tall truck-rated studded snow tires on back on bare rims. 3.91 sure grip. Built 440. 4-speed. Manual steering and brakes. Cherry bombs. 75 mph on the ice and hanging it out all over the place..... somehow I survived 

.......I forgot about the sparks and all the twin double grooves etched into the driveway and the street in front of my house     They are still there!

Dan - I'm thinking you should keep the snow tires on there for nastagia. I'll meet you in the parking lot of your choice at first snowfall for a double Mopar doughnut-fest.

Well yes and no, the head light doors are packed with snow, that's what happens driving 70 plus mph in the snow with only your parking lights on

Getting together, dropped off some parts today, and had my camera. The grille is in. The bumper does not line up very well, SO its going back.

The interior is still half out, so at least another month, depending how fast we can get the bumper back after another bend. Put the stripe on
Saturday.

Car is looking great!  I've only handed my car over a couple times to a shop and  I'm always nervous I'll find a new scratch or a dent or something when I go to pick it up.  Even driving on the roads these days is more dangerous with all the distracted drivers out there.  Glad to hear your car is coming together!  Looking forward to the final pics.

coming a long nicely!  What are you going to do about the bumper? Send it out and have it straightened or bend the brackets back to what they are supposed to be?
