17" 18" Rims dilemma on a '73 Charger - any help?

What kind of offset would I need to look for in regards to rims, on a stock '73 Charger with disc up front, drums on back?

Looking to put 17 front, 18 back rims/tires.

Would these work? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/are-105m7865b

I got some cheap torq thrust knock offs that aren't quite up to par, the back are too tucked in the fender, the fronts rub very slightly on the k frame. I didn't check the offsets. Rather not use any spacers, I tried putting some small ones on, and even then the wheel studs just aren't long enough, so they'd have to be changed.

Any expertise/tips/help I can get, is appreciated.

4.5" backspacing on mine.  Some other members here with similar wheels have had rubbing issues-I haven't noticed any.  I'm running 18's...

Im running cragar soft 8s 17x8 245/50 up front 17x9 275/50 out back. backspacing is 4.5 and 5.5 respectively. front is lowered to almost top of tire and rear is about 1" above wheelwell. no rubbing at all up front or when turning. rear doesnt rub but going any lower it will hit the opening. it has room between leafspring too.

17x9.5 with 5.5 bs on the rear and yes they do hit, but not a lot.  They seem to smooth our the undercoating a bit.   :icon_smile_big:

See my spacers thread for a few pics.

5.25 BS is usually as far as you can go on the rear of a 3rd gen. I have 17x8 with 4.25 BS in the front. 255/50 Nitto 555. 17x9 with 5" BS rear. 245/45 MT's rear.

Wheels may require different backspacing, etc between 2nd & 3rd Gens.
