Thing I love about this show is that they have a Friday night barbeque and then they cruise Highway 101 from Seaside to Cannon Beach (7 miles) then they parade thru town. The Sat show takes over all of downtown Seaside from 7-4. Then they cruise thru town and the ocean front turnaround for 30-45 minutes after the show. Everybody revs their engines (my stock hemi muffs can hardly be heard compared to some of the open headers and flow masters. The people line the streets for blocks and yell and cheer. **But NO BURNOUTS**   :)

I really like the cruising parts!

Thanks for posting, nice 68. Love to see your driving it to the shows. Why is it that most every one of the cruise nights I go to I am either the only charger there and maybe me and only one other mopar.  :shruggy:

You've got the best looking car there :2thumbs:

This year I was the only Charger of any year. There were 3 70-74 Challengers and two new Challengers.

In the literature there was a huge picture of Dane's "Danetona" Clone from last year. I think he may have won the Best Car in the show.

It was a blast...

Beautiful scenery for a cruise show like that too.

Interesting, how few Mopars you see at shows like this. There has to be a reason. Gooding and Company have a show every year at the Fairgrounds here in Des Moines. Chevelles and Novas for miles. Last time I went, one Charger. 1968. This is always fairly large and well attended show too.
