Manual shift TB, throttle pressure lever quiz

What method has anyone used to keep the lever at full-on?
I assume it has to be all the way past the detent you feel?

Spring, wire, etc.

Assuming your talking bout 'kickdown' throttle valve.
I don't recommend wiring all the way back as when cold especially, it won't shift until way up in rpms.
same with speed and high gear.
