Edelbrock mechanical fuel pump, less than a month old. I wanted to switch to an electronic pump but my cousin the mechanic said a mechanical would be fine.

Once the car was running it ran fine, but trying to start the car the fuel pump just didn't seem to have pressure  :shruggy:

Got the car started but it wasn't running the best. Drove fine to my cousin's shop but wouldn't start again. Luckily the pump is under warranty....

Here's a video of my Dart idling, took it before headed to my cousin's shop:

shouldn't be, the entire engine is pretty much new with only 4000 miles on it or so.  :shruggy:

That doesn't always mean anything. Better measure it.

It's been only maybe 100 mile since my cousin said he checked it when they installed the new fuel pump.

well, seeing as the pump is less than a month old, and the rod is fine and correct length without actually checking it..guess you might wanna start looking elsewhere for your problem. Is there gas in the tank?

I don't have the car so I can't check it myself at this moment....

And yes it was a half tank

Got the Dart back. The defective fuel pump was swapped out free of charge and the Dart runs perfectly again.  :2thumbs:
