Nacho did a list (see below) on another thread for third gens. Can anybody help me with a similiar list for a 68 Charger. I know the lights are almost all grounded the body and I do not need those listed.

For 3rd gens:
-Radiator core support for headlight harness and battery ground reinforcement.
-Battery wire to driver head or A/C compressor
-Ground strap from passenger head to firewall
-Ground strap at wiper motor
-Dash frame above brake emergency handle to some dash functions ( map light, voltage limiter, seatbelt light insert ). Rest of cluster really gets ground by chassis, wire is a reinforcement
-driver side trunk reinforcement for driver side sidemarker ( also 73/74 full tail lights setup due the plastic housing )
-ground wire from steering column bolt to steering column holding stud
-ground strap at fuel sender outlet to fuel line at body

Some specific years grounds:
-71/72 passenger side trunk reinforcement for passenger side sidemarker
-ground on dash frame lip between ashtray and glove box to 74 interlock control
-eyelet terminal ( engine harness ) at one of the wiper motor studs to the reset button on 74s
-74 headlight harness carries extra ground wires to parking lights, but attached to same radiator core support wire net.

Any help will be appreciated.

Bump. Anyone?

I'm in the same situation. Trying to start my 68 for the first time - new year one harness in, but I cannot remember the grounds.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just rewired my 68 with all new harnesses except for the dash harness. The grounds are basically the same as the third gens. One thing I added to all my Chargers is a quick disconnect on the negative battery terminal. I never leave the batteries connected overnight.

Yeah, good call with the battery disconnect.  Walked out to the garage to find my reverse lights glowing?!?!?!?  Going to put in all the grounds tomorrow and a disconnect.
