Seen that before. Really interesting idea. The problem would be the initial cost to start converting roads over though, that is something no one can seem to answer.  :shruggy:

Cool, but would take forever to implement. I guess it would shut down lots of jobs and open up a line of work though.

Interesting....but there are a lot of tests that will need to be done.  Various 1-5 mile test strips would have to be constructed. Setup and longevity testing, load testing ie. commercial trucking, vehicle stopping of panels vs asphalt wet, dry & icy conditions, maintenance and replacement; all will have to take place. Until they can prove that the long term costs will be cheaper or equal to current technology I don't see it replacing current technology. I think it will stay around more for private use as driveway, vehicle parking, outdoor sports courts, sidewalks, etc. Will be years if ever before you would see it used as a replacement for major roads and highways.
