Ok, one revolution of the tire is appx 1  3/8 revolution of the yolk.  What ratio do I have?

If you have a sure grip it is a one to one ratio. Since you have such a low relative number I am going to guess you don't have sure grip.

Therefore, take the number times 2 for a non sure grip.

1.375 x 2 = 2.75 so it looks like you have the common 2.71 gearset.

No, not a sure grip.  Ugh, what a ratio......  What I figured, being a 318 car.

Actually, I checked and a 2.71 is for the 8 1/4 rear. If you have an 8 3/4 is would be a whopping 2.76 gear.  ;)
