I'd love to win this "thing" for a week just so I could thrash it. "Yes sir, I'll take the full insurance with that." :icon_smile_evil: I'd be sure to remove the Charger badges and install some Intrepid emblems before returning it.

id see how long it would hold before drivetrain breaks. take it to track and race against some minivans etc.

It's funny, the guys who hate the car the most are always the guys finding them on the internet and posting them here.

It's time to come out of the closet boys...

Silver R/T

Id give it to elderly couple and make sure they drive it every day as much as possible on the main streets of city. After all that's what the car was intended for.

Make no mistake, I'm not looking for it. I just wish it would go away but it keeps popping up like a bad penny.

Not really, the GT350H was a low production vehicle and now commands $100k for prime examples. The '06 lump will never attain the status of the Hertz Mustang.

I have worked at a dodge dealership for the last 12 years and have driven and worked on every dodge including Vipers and SRT 10 and the charger. The hemi charger really runs well but the body style sucks, It is not loved by the sales department or us techs. We all are hope when they build the challenger that we will have a dodge performanc car that the working man can buy.Now i may be to hard on the new charger, I am old school and owning a Daytona and a 500 may not help,  the new chargers are to me just JUNK. Sorry if this offended some one.   JR. :icon_smile_cool:

Does that mean that no members are allowed to like the car, then?  Nice... :eyes:

Myself, I'd beat the everloving hell out of it.  "Drive it like a rental."

I can't believe he let you back on the site. I don't know whether to laugh at you, or pray for you. I don't pray, so...

Where do you come up with stuff? :slap:

Oh and Andy, calling him a dickhead was a nice touch. Check his sig buddy. His car puts yours and Silver's to sleep. Geez... :rotz:

Why then do so many of the longtime members continue to dig up, post and reply to threads about the new Charger then?

Why?  You've already made your point quite clear.  We all know that you, and ChargingLizard, and Sliver, and several others really don't like the car.  We don't need a constant reminder.

You say it's a classic Charger board, but, it's the people who don't like the new Charger, who keep making threads about them.  Let it go.

Maybe you don't need a constant reminder how much we dislike the '06 but the builders of the monstrosity apparently do. So do those who hate the car need to "let it go" any more than those who continually click on the '06 bash topics to defend it? I obviously started this thread as a bash on the '06 so why do you come in here trying to convince us that's it's a wonderful car that pays homage to our classic Chargers? No one is making you read this and I don't think you're going to convince anyone who doesn't like the car to stop bashing and buy one. So... you let it go.

Looked more like a thread asking what you would do with a free car for a week, to me...

Quoteso why do you come in here trying to convince us that's it's a wonderful car that pays homage to our classic Chargers?

Good car, yes.  I've NEVER said it payed homage to the classic Chargers.  Not once.

QuoteNo one is making you read this and I don't think you're going to convince anyone who doesn't like the car to stop bashing and buy one. So... you let it go.

You're right, no one is making me, but, I believe there should be 2 sides to this arguement, and I'd rather not let every post about the car be slanted one way.
