How long does it take to ship from Canada. Bought parts from 71Green Go, he said will ship 4-28, almost a month, is this normal..

it does take some time to get down here to us...depending on where he is and where you are...also depends on who he shipped the parts by....but I would think a month is a little long...have you been able to contact him?

I bought a part from Oneway (lathe Co.) took sevens days for it to travel 3,500 miles. The part was held up in customs for two days of that. The most it should take is two weeks, depending on value.

How was it shipped ? FedEx, UPS, etc?

Did you get tracking number? Whenever I buy something online I request a tracking number.

i have never had anything take more than 2 weeks tops from canada, or sending to canada.

I bought from him before and I don't think shipping took all that long, maybe a few days more than interstate shipping?  Customs is notorious for severe delays for a variety of reasons though.  Same with the shipping company.  If you can get a tracking number it should be easy enough to find out where it is.

No tracking number, have emailed him last night & a few days befor, nothing yet. I hope he is OK, don't know what he does for a living, could be out on a big job. I am in N. E. Ind. he is in Ontario. Thanks for the info on shipping & customs could be at fault or it could have gotten lost.

4-28, was the last email I got from him. Said he was getting in from work & shipping the next day, don't know what he does for work. Bought the rocker arms he had for sale, I know stuff happens, just hope he is OK like said before.

I would start getting your money back, how did you pay credit card, PayPal, etc?

Postal Money order, my go to the post office & see what can be done but not much hope. We have some Canadian members on here, I can give them his name to check Ontario hospitals & or Obits.

Stopped by Post Office & filled out on line form for them to check & see if money order was cashed. They said if not, then would get it back, have not heard from Post office in a week & half. I assume he cashed it but they might still be working on it.   .

Got a copy of the cashed money order back. That leaves me to think he might have been in an accident, medical reasons or scammed me, which I doubt. Unless I can get in touch with  the police in Ontario to follow up, will chalk it up to a life's leasson.
