Need help identifying Holly carbs

Ok I know these carbs are 4160 750 CFM manual choke carbs. What the holley website won't tell me is what all the numbers on the air horn mean. So here goes.
(First carb)            3310-4
                             0227

(Second Carb)  List 3310-3
                          1640

(Third carb)      List 3310-2
                           0961


Maybe the _ # stands for the year it was made? but is that 1984, 1994, or 2004? no idea what the second # below each could mean. I am just wondering I want a rebuild kit and I do see a couple diffrences on one of the carbs and just want to buy the right kit.

The first number is the list number for the carb and the dashed one following it is just a version number.  If you get a kit for a 4160 you should be fine but you can double check by making sure it covers list 3310.

Dont the version numbers typicly reference what jets they were shipped with?

That would be nice to know. I have a jet kit and was wondering what jets to start out with.

Could be jets I don't know.  I thought it was changes to metering circuits or bleeds.  Maybe it's a change of any kind.  What jets are in there now troy?

Not sure what jets are in any of them yet. I will take pics of all three carbs and post them tonight. what angle pic is  the best? The top of the carb?

As far as I know the 3310-1's are 780 cfm w/ a rear metering block (4150) and all the rest, 3310-2 and on, are 750 cfm w/ metering plate (4160). So, all 3 of troy.70R/T's carbs ought to be the same.

I know not the best pics but the last one ( the 33310-2) looks like the jet is in a different place. I think this is an older carb.

The jets are inside the fuel bowl troy, you are looking at something else.

That's correct as far as I know. What I'm saying is that to my knowledge a 3310-1 will in fact be a 4150/ have a metering block, while 3310-2, 3, etc. are 4160s w/ the metering plate.

Also they came with #72 jets so thats what you will be starting out with unless someone has swapped them already.

Oh, I see what you mean.  Weird that they'd use the same list number across two models and just change the revision.  Then again I suppose a 4160 is really just a 5150 with a plate so it makes sense that way.

I will this weekend. I ment that in the third pic it looks like a jet on the very top. I can post a better pic tonight. I was just wondering what it is.

Here is a pic of the third carb. The jet looking thing I am talking about. I did see that summit list the rebuild kits accourding to the list # the -2, 3, 4 is listed separate.

The brass "jets" are  air bleed restrictors.
