FC7 V code

I haven't noticed any pictures on the site from Saturday's Mopars in the Park show, but then again as I've gotten older I've noticed that I don't notice much :icon_smile_big:, so hopefully no one else has posted these. My first time at this show and I managed to get my Wife, Son and Daughter along for the ride. I'll consider it an early Father's Day gift. The weather in the morning was great and we were burned out and leaving before any rain fell. Hopefully next year we may drive one of our cars out. It's a long ride but it would be a blast as long as everything held together. Anyway enough rambling here's some pictures. Will start with a couple 1st Gens, 68 GTX Vert, 68 Hemi Runner and a 69 Q5 Charger :drool5:. Probably the 1st time I'd seen a Q5 car in person in 25 years....My Wife had never seen one in person and loved the color.

Another cool group, I was interested in the 69 B5 Runner with the pinstripe look. My Nephew has a 69 B5 coded for light blue pinstripes if I'm not mistaken. Of course  his pinstripes are long gone and I don't really recall them as a common option. Second is a group of 69 Runners and then a cool B5 AAR and last a 70 X 6bbl AG car.

Next up a couple of nice looking 70 Bee's, first one is an  FC7 AG car and the second B5 with light blue stripes, then a 70 Challenger 440-6 SE car and finally a 70 Black Charger RT.

Then there was a couple FC7 cars, first a Challenger Vert and a 70 Charger RT followed by a pair of FJ5 cars. First a Air grabber Runner than a GTX 6bbl car.

An awesome un-restored Hemi Cuda is up next, followed by a Petty blue bird, a FM3 Runner, with a red Charger last.

There was just something for everyone interested in Mopars at this show, Three 70 Runner Vert's right together. The TX9 was triple black, while the FC7 one was coded for a yellow stripe and also there was a nice yellow one.

Wow, that looks like it was an incredible show.  I can't pick a favorite but for me it'd be between the restored Big Willie car or that silver Daytona. :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:

I'll finish this up, took way to many pictures. We had a great time! This was the first all Mopar show I'd ever attended and already we are planning to be back for next years show. This group is a Hemi Charger that was in the car corral along with a cream TA with a green interior. Think I had seen that one on the Metro Detroit Craigslist a couple months ago. Then a nice 71 Cuda followed by a 70 Cuda Hemi shaker car that my Son is checking out. I'm sure his thoughts on the whole thing is "why didn't you buy more of this stuff back in 1980 when it was cheap" Hope everyone enjoys the pictures.

Big Willie Daytona  looks awesome  ,   :drool5:

but !

looked better unrestored to me ,  my thinking  , don't look old !  from a time long ago , Dinosaur , i'm  weird I know  :image_294343:  , I know it wernt practical . because it was a non runner & we all know , with theses cars it never stops with , i'll just do this & that , before you know it its a full blown resto bare shell rebuild .

now it just looks like any other over restored mopar  , no offence to any one  over restored mopars are Awesome & I love them all !!  but not fitting for this Daytona  imo :scratchchin:   :scratchchin: :-\

Mopar4me

Does anyone know if that's the Big Willie Daytona that was sitting by a body/restoration shop in Ogilive MN? If so it sure has come along way.

Ghoste

It'd have to be, it's the only one left.
