0:27 - Fast.

1:12 - OH SHIT!  

2:20 - LOL, the guy just goes right on crossing the road afterward.

2:40 - Brutal.  Just brutal.

2:49 - Alllmooost . . . nope, lost it.

4:47 - Watch near the end - somebody had their chinstrap on too loose!

Glad they seem to have Roll Cages, but nothing funny about fire!

Those cars are so light.  They can hold a lot of speed through twisties that our cars would never be able to.

It really got crazy in the 1980s, when souped-up AWD cars hit the scene (the infamous "Group B" era).  They could suddenly put twice as much power to the ground on in a short space on dirt/snow/gravel.  But cornering & braking capabilities didn't gain twice as much tire to match.  It was a recipe for a lot of wrecks and some deaths.

 , I would be no good at that , would be too worried of spectators or animals of some kind standing in the road , round the next bend ,would be too busy watching what the spectators are doing & where they was standing etc , I would hit a tree

Rally racing spectators . . . that's my comeback when I hear people saying American car guys are so much more reckless/dumb/neanderthal compared to European car guys.  Rally racing fans have been getting whacked by racers for generations with no sign of learning from it.

I've never seen a finer example of driving ahead than the Subaru near the end.
Some brutal hits there for sure.
