A box of goodies showed up today. Complete FireCore ignition system. Everything looks well made. Thanks again Ron!

Very nice indeed but it went to the wrong place. That's replacing my MDS system. Just a minor
shipping error I'm sure.  :D

My car is a bone stock 69 440 R/T auto running MSD. Would I see any real world
gain with FireCore? I really don't know so educate me please.

Are you running a stock distributor?  Do you have spark scatter?  The latter is a question I plan to answer in a few days.  If I have the slightest bit of timing variation/spark scatter I'm ditching the MP distributor and buying the Firecore.  I would suggest you look into your setup as well..

I have the firecore ignition system and i'm very pleased with it. :2thumbs:

What did the system do for your car?

kokxville

It started quicker, better response when accelerating. And the apperance under the hood  :yesnod: It's a good quality product IMO :yesnod:
But i did have the stock distrubitor before upgrading to the firecore system, not msd or Mallory,so i can't tell you the differences between those.

Back N Black

I installed the RTR and coil last month and ditched the Mopar dist. It feels like a different car, starts great hot or cold, idles waay better and better throttle response. With the old Mopar distrubutor I always had running rich condition ,no more running rich.  :2thumbs:

Looks great Steve.....that supercharged stroker build of yours deserves a quality ignition system.  :2thumbs:
