I have had the cluster out for a while, meaning I forgot where some of the wires go.

I made a bit of a mess when I redid the main splice so I figured I would organize the wiring a bit.  I have two that I am not sure of where they go.  One wire is to the far left, around where the light switch plug is.  It is grey and has a single black connector on it.  The other is dark brown, almost black, with a white tracer and runs close to the circuit board plug.  That one as a single black plug on it as well.

Anyone know where these go?

was /is the grey wire actually wrapped in the main dash harness !!  if so should be for the  clock , put a test light on it  , should have power all the time ,  only other one is for a tac that's grey with a tracer , but that will not be in the main dash harness , it was accessory wiring .

dark brown  , almost black  , with white tracer is for three speed wipers ,  have you got a picture ?

I posted some pictures of that wire coming out the harness to show what it looked like  , some time ago , just done a search , cant find it at the minute

Yes it is taped in the main harness!  I have an orange wire going to the clock and it has a non stock connector on it.  The clock only has one wire going to it does it not?  Maybe it no longer worked and someone bypassed it so I'll have to dig deeper.

I can get a picture of the wire but it would make sense that this is for the three speed wire as it would likely be there even if the car came with a 2 speed.  That makes sense!  The wire comes out of the main harness as well.

Thanks TT, you always come through!   :2thumbs:
