I purchased a step side pick up today.  I have been on the lookout for one ever since I saw one in the middle of nowhere South Dakota with my wife (girlfriend at the time).  That was probably 10 years ago or so.  This one needs the drivetrain re-intalled.  Hope to have it back on the road this summer.  It needs more work, but I don't want to do too much until the Charger is done.  My sone is now eight.  By the time he is ready to drive, it would be a good project for him to work on.

The truck is a 318-4 speed truck.  Original orange.  Also a dual gas tank truck.  The tank behind the seat is gone, but the filler tube is there.  I don't think I will be putting that back in.  Not to sure I want a bunch of gas right behind me while cruising along.

Had a nice day picking it up today.  Go back next week to get the drivetrain.

Nice project!  Going to turn it into a LRT?

gschmidt211

No plans for that.  I plan on putting the drivetrain back in it and driving it until my car is done.  If I do anything to it, I will put it back to the original color, orange.  If I were to do a clone, I think I would go the way of Warlock, over LRT.

Forst things first, get it running again.

Cool find! That will be a fun daily driver and project.

Are you going to leave those exhaust thingys on it.  :eek2:

I def vote for the warlock w/o the stacks.

I was taking the stacks off.  They are not functional now and are essentially held in place with bungie cords.  They're all rusted and probably not worth the restoration cost.  I would prefer to have dual exhaust tips sticking out the rear.  I may be able to come up with an extra set of gun barrel 3rd gen b-body exhaust tips for it.  Otherwise, just a simple, clean set of straight chrome pieces sticking out an inch or two past the all chrome bumper.

The Warlock edition trucks just look elegant and sinister.

Black with tasteful gold pin striping. Understated but quite possibly

dangerous.  :yesnod:
