i have a guy near me selling a complete 1966 440/727 350hp setup. 10:1 pistons

Whats the most I can get out of this setup?
How much will the stock trans handle?

I was thinking of upgrading engine to have a tunnel ram with two quads, rebuild and port match heads on motor, cam with 240+ duration.

First off, 66 engines will need to be upgraded to later model push rods. Second, that engine is nowhere near actual 10:1. More like around 9.25:1.
Closed chamber "516" heads have small 1.600 exhaust valves. A tunnel ram with long duration cam will most likely be more of a show than a go.
At F&P Performance,  we dyno'd a 66 440 with HIGHLY modded "516" heads and a 265 @.30508 solid cam with a 950 Holley and made a little over 500 hp.

'66 is the last year of the 727 19-spline input shaft, not much selection of converters for it.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
