Ebay password reset

Anyone else been hassled by Ebay and their inability to keep personal info safe? I tried to log into my ebay last night and it gave me a page prompting me to reset password. I typed in my email address where to send email and I didn't get email with link to reset ebay password. And now I can't login into my ebay and there's no email from stupid Ebay with reset link. I'm starting to really hate Ebay now.

I reset mine on the 21st....check your spam, junk, or trash folder...sometimes ebay messages go there. Also, give it a minute or so...emails do not go through right away from what I have found

I was gonna ignore the message(s), OK for viewing/buying items but you can't sell an item if you don't reset the password.

check you junk/spam folder  as they have contacted me everyway possible asking me to change password

Nope, nothing in junk/spam folder. I think Ebay customer service is not working due to Memorial Day.

I just reset mine.

The whole thing took less than 2 minutes.

Had to call customer service so they would send me link in email. For some reason email wasn't getting through to my email account.

changed mine yesterday, I never sold on ebay but did buy on it occasionally.  These days you simply cannot protect against every attack, there are too many scammers and hackers worldwide that somehow feel a need to crack into corporate sites.  Sad that we can't trust people like we used to.

Never do it thru a link in an email. Change your password directly from your account profile.
Once you start from your profile, they will then send you an email confirming the change to finish the process. Like others, took less than 2 minutes & has been working fine.

  I had to do the same thing. Called customer service. It was acting like my email address was wrong.

I cancelled my paypal account a couple of years back but I still have an ebay user account but nothing attached to it that can be charged anymore. I bought a few things last year by sending money orders.

Best advice on this topic.   

I remind my wife regularly about this kind of thing & I never click on a link for anything asking me to log in. It's a lot like how most accounts will state that they will never ask you for personal info in an email, yet people constantly give it up.
