Is it possible to change the oil pan gasket by simply removing the center link or does it require to raise motor off of the kmember? My car is 69 charger 383/727 with stock pan and NO windage tray.

Yes. you can actually just take one side of the center link loose at the spindle and at the idler arm or pitman arm whichever side you take loose and you can twist it out of the way and the oil pan will come off pretty easily! :yesnod:

Remove your bottom torque converter cover , it will allow you to get pan that little bit more back to remove it ,

Ok thanks guys. I just didn't want to unbolt and break the seal to find out that I couldn't install a new gasket.
