Spotted this off the side of the highway, is that a '69 or '70?  Sorry it's not the best picture I was leaning over a chain link fence to get this shot.

Ghoste

Looks like a 70 to me.  Appears to have door scoops (which means it could be an RT) and the front of the fender seems to end like the bumper was removed.

That's what I thought about the front end also but wasn't sure

Ehh unless it's free or really cheap that looks like way more of a project than I need or can handle

PrisonHack

Yeah I'm in Arkansas, Union County is down south right I seem to remember driving through there when I was going back and forth to Camden.

Yep that's it bottom center on the state line. Camden is 15 minutes down the road from me.  :scratchchin:

Definitely can see either a door scoop or where one may have once resided.  :scope:
Might be worth a trip back, maybe give the VIN a look-see. One never knows.  :scratchchin:

Yeah, if it turned out to be a factory Six Pack car or something then suddenly that project isn't so daunting.

That is some killer looking yard art, but it needs rescued !!!

It could of been used to fix up another project that might be hiding elsewhere. :scratchchin:

Thats what I am thinking, it's been setting there for a year now. It's a shop building, but I have no idea what kind of shop, there is no sign or anything. Figured there might be another one in nicer shape inside the shop. There has never been anyone there when I have driven by. It's in a town about an hour north of me.

fy469rtse

Yep definitely a 70 , go back and have a look front valance missing with bumper, picked clean from the look of it,
No one added those side scoope's to doors , could be a rare car ! And you found it just sitting there
You will kick yourself if you don't go back and find out for sure,

Some of us take on these type cars with 318's..

Wasn't implying that you didn't, just pointing out that you shouldn't necessarily walk away from a project before knowing what it once once.

I've had a couple of people PM me about finding out more info on this car. I'm glad to do so, but like I said the couple times I have driven by the shop it looks deserted. Do you guys think maybe dropping a note stating my interest and my contact info in the mail box (proving there is one) would be the best way to go about it? That's what I'm thinking.

Leaving a note worked for me during my charger hunt, unfortunately... it was already spoken for, but he did call back  :yesnod:
