72 Charger remote mirror

Hey all,

I'm trying to install the reproduction remote mirror for my charger, but can only find 1 hole (top front of door) for the ring clip that holds the strands inside the door.  Is there only 1 hole for the clips?  The repro mirror comes with 2 clips on the strands so I assumed there were 2.  I tried installing it with just the 1 and the window pops it out whenever it comes down.
