I have a few out back. They were bought a few years back when the cars were cheaper. I fix and sell one every couple of years.

One of my projects is a Jeep CJ, so it'll probably never be finished, plus four wheeling breaks stuff so there's never the lack of projects around.

I plan to keep my 68 indefinitely, so that makes two.  My wife has a beetle I'm working on but I don't count it since it's not mine - I just get to do all the work

I really would like to add a third of some sort - possibly another classic Mopar but I really would like something other than a 4x4 or muscle car to fill out the stable.

we got both Chargers, the Daytona, and the Pontiac....how many will we keep? I hope all of them....until they go to our kids or I have to sell one or 2 to keep surviving......

They are never done...so that part I never worry about

The current plan is to just hang on to the 4 remaining toys I have. 3 of 4 are essentially done. Tomorrow, who knows what the plan will be.

I'm have around 20 right now. Can't help it. Mainly 68-70 b-body's. 3 is a low number. I think about what to keep all the time. Probly keep my 3 chargers but would miss all the 70 plymouths and my coronets

in my teens & twentys , use to have 2 or three projects on the go at once & one was always a restoration & full repaint of some kind , plus  one or two waiting !! this is not to mention the charger I put in s storage at the time & was getting neglected   ,  lifes too short  I thought in my late twentys  , I want to go fishing come weekends after doing the same work as a day job    ,  sold every thing off , then took the charger apart nut & bolt resto on that , that was my last one     ,   although if I could find a Y2 !!  C500  that needs resto  hmmm......

I have two cars: 1971 FJ6 Super Bee and a 1970 FY1 Challenger R/T.. The R/T is a mess. My plans are to drop a Gen III hemi in it with a six speed.  I think two cars are more than enough for me.  Finding garage space for them is my problem.

got two and will keep them both. the charger will never be done (hence the name i go by)  even though its currently going to shows. and the 69 cougar will be getting sanded down and clean the body up for its new paint job which should go on sometime this summer. it may even make a fall show if im lucky. so i have 2 and will keep 2. ha ha, while typing this i just had a guy call me and ask me to sell my cougar.   and i was looking at a 60's model baracuda project.    here we go again..........

A few weeks ago as I was headed down to the shop to work on the 68 the wife asked  "what are you going to do when it's done?" I replied "find another project but will have to sell either the 71 or 72". She replied "why sell one, everything is all paid for".
Still can't figure out what she wants but it must be big.

Here's my story:

Since I sold my '72 Imperial a few months ago, I've discovered the virtues of garage space.

Every time I work on the Daytona, I tell myself that this may be the last car I build.

It's just too damned much work and way too damned much money.

Takes up way too much of my time.

It will definitely be the only one I ever build to this level of insanity.

I really want to do something else with my weekends and vacation days off work.


Then I look over at my other '69 Charger and tell myself " I really want to fix that one too."

"I've already got a lot of the parts for it."

Then there's the black '72 SE I bought a few years ago,

It's from California, so it's a very solid car, so it won't be so bad.

It's a keeper.


The rest of them...

I'm tired of paying storage for them and their parts.

A couple of them are just plain junk and need to be parted out and crushed (71 Imperial, '65 Fury convertible )

I should just go ahead and sell a couple of the other Chargers right now, but trying to sell cars sucks too.

Every asshole with a welfare check comes out of the trailer park and thinks $500...CASH ! ! ! is a serious offer, and what do you mean you won't ship it around the globe for free ?

   Boy, Ain't that the truth......   I was talking with a guy who was doing a Mustang and he said he wanted to be done with cars by age 68 and I can relate as I am 3 years off of that and and want to do my 68 and paint my diesel and call it an automotive life.

Um, that's why you need at least 2. One to tear apart and work on while the other is a driver, then swap.    At least that's my plan, x3 for me and the 2 boys. At least that's the story I am going to use.
