I have read these being head savers... but... I guess can be used the same over the block deck... right ?

is it safe?

can be used the same with metallic and composite headgaskets ?

Sure you seen this link. Looks like it is spacer that is used with a head gasket.
Why are you thinking about them Mo Jo? (yep I am old) Is it because you had to have the heads cut? There spacers that fit under the rocker arm shaft if that is the cases.

no, because I got a bad block decking job, mostly sure will require to cut down again, and pistons will leave a little bit the block
