Dad told me about this Dart rotting away in the hills. Figure it was stolen at some point (this town is the car theft capital of the province). Looks like a nice car at one time. The VIN tag was long since missing, just the fender tag remained.

Peaking out of the trees:

Rear bumper:

Interior long gone. Can see it used to be Go Green:

Not much left of the grille and front bumper:

Weird double tail stripe:

That continued down the length of the car:

High metal flake blue:

Fender tag:

Yeah, but that was 44 years ago and it still is only a Dart.

The hassle getting the bumper out of the brush I think negates the profit of selling it  :scratchchin:

LIES!  It'll be it's own adventure!  Then you'll have a story for your later years about that time you found a dart in the woods, and sold it's bumper :)

Years ago I picked up a 69 Charger shell with the Hemi 4-speed in the woods. Chain saw, 4x4 & some chain is all you need, go for it. That is what life is for.

Yes but the worth of said body is outweighed greatly by the amount of work it would required.

If the Dart was a originally a big block GTS or something special that might be different.  :icon_smile_big:

Sometimes I get the impression you think every Mopar ever built should be a 1968 Charger R/T 4-speed Hemi, even today.

No, not at all. I'll gladly take a '68 440 auto with a/c or possibly a plum Crazy 70 R/T with a/c. :2thumbs:

i do like the race car idea. everybody could go through their garage and grab leftover pieces and a car could be built. pass it from one member to the other until its raced every dragstrip in the country. then I woke up and I was still at work.

It's crazy how cars like this end up like that, my friend's family bought some property back when we were teenagers and on it there was a Demon laying in the weeds on it's roof. Was just a shell, but being kids we stripped the demon emblem off and my buddy glued it on his drum set. There was also a 50's chevy truck carcass there as well. His mom had them both hauled off for scrap  :o ::)
