Lot of work, & what is up with the drivers side exhaust, never seen one like that. Maybe off something else. :shruggy:.

Good starting point on a rare car,  nice colour combo too
I think once it's blasted rust will be worse than it looks, it's got that sort of look to the rust

myk

How does a car get to be in THAT state but still have its title, build sheet and all of that other stuff?  It seems contradictory to let a car go to hell but keep its documentation handy... :shruggy:  Oh, and what's with the 4x4 look?

Lot of work

Compared to many other cars I see that people here want, it's nearly mint.

remember back in the day jacked up was "the " look  :yesnod:   but it has seized shocks

Well at least the seller is reasonable in his idea of what he thinks it's worth when restored.

You guys that think it's gonna be full of rust keep thinking that.  All our cars' up here are rust buckets.  Everyone should avoid buying iron from up here.

Salem, Or., that's Dane's stompin' grounds.  He or even I might go look at it for someone if needed.  My blue Charger came from the Junction City, Or. area & this one was bought new in Albany, Or.  I wonder if they came from the same dealership?

I agree.
Yeah, it's got some body issues for sure but nothing out of the ordinary. R/T with A/C to boot.
At least the seller isn't trying to hide anything. One of the better, detailed auctions I've seen.

Pass me a plate of crow.

My sarcasm isnt.

I must say I've never seen a NW project car with so much rust.  That white film on the undercarraige looks like a salt coating.

K frame has what I would call a skid plate. Did all the 70 RT's have them? Six packs and U code cars. I assumed only the six packs had the skid plates.  :scratchchin:

Man, That thing is roached... :eek2:
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

He claims it to be original. It is not. There were some later B and C bodies that had similar curves as the "Magnum" manifold but also had the ridge AND mounting bosses for the heat stove.

My info is that the 440 and Hemi cars got the skid plate due to the deeper oil pan on those cars.

From the looks of the bottom of the oil pan, it didn't do much good.

The price it's at reflects what it's worth in today's market.  I'm sure this thing can be brought back to it's former glory.
