On my 3rd gen Chargers the height difference between the brake and gas pedal is around 3". On the 68 it's 7". Very uncomfortable going from the gas to brake. It looks there is an adjustment for the brake light switch bracket but it's already forward as far as it can go. Can any of you 2nd gen guys chime in on this?

for heel toe braking you want the brake pedal to be level with the gas pedal when the brake pedal is pushed down

sounds like you got manual brakes on the second gen?? You can get an "A-body" manual brake rod and it will lower the brake pedal

As usual Bryan you are right. Car originally came with manual brakes. I upgraded to power front discs. The threaded brake rod from the pedal to the female threaded rod on the power brake has about 3" of thread showing. think I'll look into lowering the brake pedal as far as I can and weld a bracket with an adjustable stop onto the brake pedal for the brake light limit switch. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
