69 GTX idler arm original color?

Was the original idler arm for a 68-70 B body the natural cast iron color or was it painted black by the vendor? I want to say that it was natural cast iron like the center link.

I think natural.  I'm just basing that on some photos here though not anything I can confirm as fact.
