Holley Manifold Vacuum for Brakes

Probably a stupid question, but my 750 double pumper has a manifold vacuum source on the back of the carb that it says can be used for power brakes. Is there a difference in using this source versus an actual intake manifold port? I'm assuming the amount of vacuum would be the same, so it wouldn't affect the performance of the brakes, but I don't want it affecting the performance of my carb or mixture distribution.

PS... still waiting on the new pushrods from comp cams for my update on the hydraulic lifter issue...

Thanks,
Terry

Best to get the vacuum source directly from the manifold as it was done originally from the factory :Twocents:
