That car is not going to look like that for long being kept out in the weather. I would get myself a good anti theft device, and make up some type of hidden kill switch. No harm intended.

1) I have storage for winter
2) Who said there wasn't a kill switch?  :shruggy:

You dont keep it in a garage?

I live in an apartment building

There may be garage space available for rent nearby.  Just a suggestion.

So the Dart is still in my cousin's shop. Seems my fuel pump was only providing 3lbs of fuel and it should be at least 5lbs so my cousin said. He ordered me a "top of the line" pump so he said. He really wants to make sure my car is ready for the Old Time drag races in June!  :2thumbs:

BTW since my car has been sitting out front of his shop his business has increased and there have been many people pulling in to drool over my car. Few even asked if it was for sale!  :coolgleamA:

He better be sure to give you the family discount then.  ;)

Good thing you didnt buy a Charger you'd have to put an electric fence around it.  :icon_smile_big:  ;)

Do you have an electric fuel pump or mechanical? if its a mechanical pump,i suggest you check wear on the fuel pump push rod and replace if necessary.  :2thumbs:

When I have the proper space. I live in an apartment building now and you're not allowed to work on your car in their parking lot.

The mechanical pump wasn't providing enough pressure, was only at 3lbs or so and should be at least 5lbs so it was replaced. But them my cousin figured it wasn't good enough so now he's trying to squeeze every ounce of power out of that 440 before the races in June playing with the carb and the timing.

Drache,

I like this car.  Did you change the eyeballs, or am I just remembering something else?
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....
