Chris,  the rotisserie is a must have tool and it make the grunt work fun. Get one, you will not retret it.
Thank you

Pat,

You are a machine!  Love every new page of this build! :2thumbs:

Those bends on your trunk lid are on every decklid I have ran across....some more noticeable than others.

Justin, the decklid bends are not as noticeable when mounted on the car but off the car you can really see them!
Thank you!

Cleaned and painted the inside of the cowl and painted inside firewall along with the bottom of the Cowl. I use a paint that looks like the color of steel as this will make it a little brighter under the dash when working on it. With the car on the rotisserie it was very easy to use a self leveling seem sealer fill the original firewall panel seams.
Thanks
Pat

Using some cardboard I mocked up the rear brake cooling vents. I will make these up using .065 aluminum and have them powder coated black. I will make up the discharge side at the brake when the rear and wheels are back on.
Thanks
Pat

Nice duct setup, I was going to mount mine similar. I was just going to buy some used carbon fiber brake ducts from Nascar teams. They sell them dirt cheap.

keepat

I was considering making these out of carbon fiber but I already had the aluminum tubing. I look forward to checking out your build and using the CF Nascar ducts
Thanks
Pat

I made the aluminum rear brake vents using my cardboard template. After welding them together and grinding most of the welds down I used a air tool with a medium Scotch-Brite pad to finish off and smooth out the welds. The Scotch-Brite pad is very user friendly and fast when working with aluminum.
Thanks
Pat

Nice- so this means that you are going to drive this thing to the point where the brakes will need cooling?   :icon_smile_big:  :coolgleamA:  :yesnod:

Pat,

I hope to drive it just like they did in the movie Bullitt except for the jumping, crash and the explosion at the end ;-)
Thanks
