So my second boss is being a twat. Our contract ended April 1st for one job and my boss told me the other half of our company needed boots on the ground. So I called up the second boss on April 2nd and told him I'd be free after April 16th because I had medical and family matters to take care of. He said he understood and that an opening on one team would be available April 18th. I said that was perfect.

April 4th he said he wanted me to come to work April 8th. I again told him the reasons why I had to stay home until the 16th. He told me the job on the 18th was filled but there is one available April 15th and another on the 22nd. I told him I'd take the one on the 22nd because I have to be home until the 16th.

Fast forward to the 16th and I leave a message for the second boss asking if the job is still available for the 22nd. Still no reply. Try again on the 19th, no reply. Call again on the 21st, no reply. Try again on the 22nd no reply.

Just tried again today, no reply.

I'm getting sick and tired of this crap. I'd rather not look for work locally because I'd be lucky to make 1/3 of what I make with this current company. Contact my original boss and he told me nothing so far his end, gave me a commendation for work on the last contract, and told me to keep trying for work with the second boss.

Needless to say I usually just get into my car and start driving. It calms me down. I can't explain it. I used to just jump in and if I had an unlimited tank of gas I'd just keep driving and driving.

Normally I'd go out to the range and practice but after awhile it started getting boring by myself. Used to go with a friend but his wife really tried to screw with my life to the point I had a guy trying to beat me up, that ended better for me than him. Told her I never wanted her around me again. She has my friend by the balls so I rarely see him anymore even though she's cheating on him and he knows it.

Now though I find myself wanting to go driving more and more yet actually want some company but don't have anyone to go with.

Granted my car is now in my cousin's shop for at least a day and that doesn't help. Get to go to my home town to get an ultrasound done on my heart thursday at 9am.

I left a narcissist,  bigoted, drunk, ass only to go to work for one that for the last year has attempted to get me to choose between my State Inspection license, or my job as I won't pass his 'extended' families busted junk.
He is about 56 y/o and is married with two grown children. About a year ago, you walk in the office to type up a sticker and "Big Black Women" porn website is pulled up on the screen. WTF??
so, he decides to bang this black chick and knocks her up. Now every Friday she shows up and walks out the front door with an envelope full of money. Hush money, as he is white and if his ole lady found out, she'd ream his ass till he didn't know when to take a dump.
Now, all her brothers/sisters/aunts/uncles/etc. Come in and guess who gets to foot the bill cause she's got him by the balls?

Oh yeah, with this economy, I see this Jerry Springer episode being played out all over the country.

I for one would think these auto repair shops would be too concerned with making bank than this sh*t, but it seems the more I work, the more pot smoking, handed the business, mother-in-law financially covering em, drunken, arrogant, self centered, a$$wipes are all that is left in independents.

Funny, I've seen em talk about how they want 100% satisfaction and they attempt this by lying and cheating. Then, in the same breath, will tout how religious they are. And will stand there with that dumbfounded look on their faces when customers want their money back.

I work for a well known trans shop right now on the auto side. People think they as re getting a fully rebuild trans.

I've seen used units cleaned up and painted in order to keep what used to cost $3-4k down around $1800.00.
