Does anybody make a fan shroud that doesn't warp?

And interfere with the fan?  It'd sure be nice.  :RantExplode: :pullinghair:

not sure what size you are talking about...I got a 26" on mine...perfect fit...has been there since mid-90's....

I have heard the 22" ones are not so great.....

I ordered my shroud from the dealer, no issues.

There were several batches of 22 inch reproduction shrouds that were made with inferior material (according to Bob at Glenray). He said the manufacturer supposedly corrected the issue and the new(er) ones are now fine. But if you really want to be sure, my suggestion would be to find an OEM 22 inch. Unless it is a 68 which should be the 2 piece metal anyway.

But I think you need 2949130 if it is a 69.

I picked up one last year at Carlisle and it's been fine. Only half a summer of use though. Oh, and it's for a 26".

The first 22" shroud I got from Laysons warped.  I kept tension on it in two places and it warped back into shape.  I drove it rigged that way until a motor mount broke and shattered it.  Just as well - the second shroud came from Mancini, and seems to be much better quality.  (So far - so good.)  If I recall correctly, both of those shrouds were for the 69 but used the 68 mounting hardware.
