Same here with the hedmans. I had to make a few adjustments here and there on the driver side but had no problems fitting them around my clutch linkage and Z-bar for my four speed. Mini starter fits best but with some adjusting the factory one will fit too!! When I say adjusting I mean with a hammer to make a few dents here and there to clear exactly what had to be done in the earlier post. I installed a set if TTI's on my buddy's 68 with a 440 and they went on nicely without any adjusting but his was an automatic and not a 4-speed. The hedmans are good for the price and I have installed the 5903's before but I had to beat/adjust on them quite a bit on both sides if I remember correctly.

On my 440 TTIs, I have an MSD starter (w blanket) and I can take it on and off wo fully removing the headers. I do have to loosen the bolts a bit, but can leave headers mounted. If you do buy headers, check clearances or get something proven to fit.

I have TTIs on my Daytona clone now, I can get the full size starter off without removing the header, after I found that put I switched to a mini starter for less heat soak, the fit is perfect and being able to get to all the plugs easy is a huge plus, no more heat socks over the plug wires. I also got the silver ceramic coated and they are coated inside and out. Worth every penny
Will never go back to hooker, headman or Doug's even though they are good but these TTIs are perfect. Also they fit up tighter to the body so you can get your car lower without scraping them up.
Save your money and get the TTIs you will never be sorry.
