I just recently got a set of these and went to install and it likes a hair of bolting straight on. I still have the stock exhaust I heard some say they will not fit with stock exhaust. Has anyone else heard this? If it just go down a lil more it would bolt right up but it does look like my stock exhaust is preventing it.

Just a hair more and they would bolt straight on, something is not allowing the covers to seat down properly.  My guess.

I have stock exhaust and the only problem was the fat MSD distributor shaft. That only required taking a small part of the corner flange of the cover off, and of course that was only on one side of the engine.

They should fit, post some photos to show where the issues are , I've installed these in the past with factory magnum headers, if you have the gaskets on that gives them a bit of height ? Where do they seem there touching.

I can get the cover to sit on the head but the holes dont directly line up. Its on passenger side if i pull down on it on the distributor end i can almost get it but its like my exhaust wont let it come down no more were it would match directly up.

Yea it stock heads... I looked a lil more today. When i put it on the holes line up towards firewall but on distributor end they dont only if i put some pressure. It looks like the exhaust closes in a lil more.

I have heard a number of people that use these cover say it has issues when bolting onto cars that have stock HP manifolds

Nice valve covers. They often don't clear stock cast iron manifolds, HP, log or truck. How come my valve covers leak? We'll duh, see how you have an interference fit with the exhaust? Sometimes you can angle mill the manifold to get it to lay away from the cover if you just must have manifolds and cast valve covers.
